About

The Théâtre de l'Union is a theatre in the Haute-Vienne department of Limoges, France. As a national drama centre, the theatre of the Union belongs to the network responsible for producing, co-producing, welcoming and disseminating theatre works to the widest possible audience, in a theatrical decentralisation logic. In addition to a 374-seat room, located on Rue des Coopérateurs in Limoges, the theatre has decor and costume workshops that allow it to deploy its creative and production capacity.

It is an emblematic place of contemporary creation that promotes and diffuses today's theatre actively involving the artists it produces and co-produced. The Union Theatre - National Dramatic Centre of Limousin is supported by the Ministry of Culture and Communication, the Regional Directorate of Cultural Affairs of New Aquitaine, the City of Limoges, the Regional Council of New Aquitaine and the General Council of Haute-Vienne.
