tombeau de Merlin
The tomb of Merlin is a ruined covered alley, dated Neolithic, located in the forest of Paimpont, at the place called "La Marette" near the hamlet of Landelles on the commune of Paimpont, in the French department of Ille-et-Vilaine. At the end of the 19th century, tradition assimilates the monument to the tomb of Merlin. Since then, the monument has been largely destroyed by grave robbers.
The valuation of the current tomb does not go back beyond the 1990s. Merlin's tomb has since become an important tourist site of the legendary Brocelian forest.
