Trou des Celtes

Le trou des Celtes is a cave located in the territory of the municipality of Pierre-la-Treiche, on the left bank of the Moselle river. This cave was originally part of an endokarst located below the bottom of the Moselle valley; This endokarst was intersected when the river came in. Before its capture by the Meurth, the Moselle participated in the creation and widening of all the caves and then in their filling with its alluvials.
