viaduc de Gennevilliers
The viaduct of Gennevilliers is a road viaduct located in the Hauts-de-Seine and Val-d'Oise, France, which allows the A15 motorway to cross the Seine between the municipalities of Argenteuil and Gennevilliers. It marks the connection of this highway with the A86.
History: It crossed the Seine and the east entrance channel of the port of Gennevilliers immediately south of the river, as well as the entire port right-of-way along Darse No. 5 overhanging it. Its position on the right bank of the Seine, downhill from the hill of Sannois, offers motorists heading towards Paris a wide panorama of Paris and its close north and west suburbs, from the Stade de France to La Défense. It is connected to the south by an exchange with the A86 motorway which marks the end of the A15 motorway and the beginning of the national road 315. This interchange is also connected to the D 911 departmental road ( Marcel Paul Avenue in Gennevilliers). To the north, after crossing the line of Grande Belture, it leads to a interchange with the departmental road 311.
