A church is attested to at the beginning of the thirteenth century, St.Christophus, perhaps of Carolingian origin. In 1242 it was attached to Saint-Marcel de Saint-Denis. Summer 1336: drought and lack of water have terrible consequences in Aubervilliers, in the heart of the largest vegetable plain in France.
