St. Lawrence Church is a parish Catholic church located in Beaumont-sur-Oise, France. Behind a facade without peculiarities, flanked by a remarkable Renaissance tower, lies a building of great elegance, which bears witness to the beginnings of Gothic architecture.
The capitals of large arcades are of certain artistic value. Since the church is singularized by double sides, which is not the case of any other church of the same period throughout the northern part of the historic Île-de-France, these capitals are numerous. The nave has remained unfinished for centuries.
Its elevation was to be on three levels, with triforium and high windows. But the floor of the high windows was never realized, and the nave was covered by a simple frame while waiting for a potential arching of warheads. In 1862, the church was classified as a historical monument by the list of 1862, which brought the second series of rankings after that of 1840.
