About

Saint-Michel Church is a Catholic parish church located in Mesnil-en-Thelle, Oise department, France. It is one of the few churches in the region that is entirely built in the flamboyant Gothic style. However, it is not entirely homogeneous, for a few decades of stylistic evolution separate the supports of the bedside vaults and some elements of the third span of the north side from the rest of the building, which intertwine in such a way in the more recent parts that must be concluded a partial destruction of the building not yet completed during the Hundred Years' War.

In addition, the failure of the nave pillar profile above the large arches suggests that the site was interrupted before the construction of the high and vaulted parts of the nave. The plan of Saint-Michel Church is simple, namely a blind central ship accompanied by two sides, and fits into a rectangle. The architecture does not offer anything particularly remarkable, but is the perfect reflection of its time, and the monument is carefully equipped with cut stone.
