église Saint-Martin de Groslay
Saint Martin Church is a parish Catholic church located in Groslay, France. It consists essentially of a nave and a south-Gothic side of the 13th century; and an extension of the nave with choir to the apse in the hemicycle as well as a northern collateral and an extension of the southern collateral of the 16th century. The parts added in the first place display the flamboyant Gothic style, while the finishings of the parts added during the last work campaign are imprinted with the Renaissance, but only the apse is designed entirely in the Renaissance style. As a result of clumsy alterations and additions, only the northern facade and partly the bedside facade retain their authentic character. The interior is quite harmonious and constructed with great care, not presenting a real break between the different parts. The true richness of the church is its six Renaissance windows, made up in some cases of fragments mounted together. The building has been listed as a historic monument since 1929.
