Église Sainte-Quitterie d'Aire

The church of Sainte-Quitterie or Saint-Pierre-du-Mas is located on the hill of Mas, south-west of the town of Aire-sur-l'Adour, in the Landes department. It is of Gothic style from the 13th – 14th century, except the bedside which dates from the late 11th or early 12th century. The church is classified as historical monuments by the list of 1840.

As such, it is the first listed monument in the Landes Department. It is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1998 under the title of Saint-Jacques-de-Compostelle Roads in France.
