Church building
église Notre-Dame-de-l'Assomption d'Ahuillé
History: It was rebuilt in 1863. Dedicated to the Assumption, it reminds us of an ancient use, that of the bombers who still came to Pentecost 1629 to assist in the celebration of the offices; It also signals the custom of separating men and women in the church; Indeed, at the end of the 18th century, one of the doors was still referred to as the Women's Gate. His inventory took place on 13 March 1906. After an unsuccessful first attempt in the morning, in front of about 700 people, the gendarmes entered the building; They expel the young men who kept it and the inventory is made without witnesses, while the crowd was outside.
Architecture and exterior: Distinct from the one joining the church, the "Grand Cemetery" was still used in 1777; It contained a chapel.
