Château de Hautefort

Château de Hautefort is a French castle located in the commune of Saint-Nicolas-de-Macherin, in the department of Isère. It dominates the village and the church of Saint-Nicolas. The oldest building in the commune, it was built by the house of Clermont in the 11th century and belonged to illustrious families. Today, the castle is private and divided into several apartments.
