Ouvrage Les Aittes

The Aittes, or Aîttes, is a fortification forming part of the Maginot line, located in the commune of Cervières, in the Hautes-Alpes department. It is a small infantry structure built in the 1930s. He was in charge of defending the bottom of the Cerveyrette valley, thus shouldering the works at the top of the Gondran, the whole being covered by the artillery of the Janus work and the supporting batteries. Having served little in 1940, he was in rather good condition and visited.
