Nécropole gauloise de Vaugrignon

The Gaulish necropolis of Vaugrignon is an active necropolis of La Tène, located in the commune of Esvres in Indre-et-Loire, France. This necropolis, whose excavated part contains about thirty burials of adults and children, all ages, genders and social status, is located northwest of an area inhabited as early as the 2nd century BC to which it may be linked. When it ceased to be used around 10 BC, its activity seemed to be transferred to another nearby necropolis.
