Little France or Französel (in Alsatian) is, with the Grande Île de Strasbourg, a picturesque district of the historic centre of Strasbourg in Alsace, around the canals of Ill. The Grande Île and Petite France have been listed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites since 1988. La Petite France is part of the Grande Île district, which includes the Grande Île, the civilian hospital and the Finkwiller.
