The Notre-Dame de l'Osier shrine was built in the 17th century on the site of the "Miracle of the Osier" (1649) and the Marian apparition of Notre-Dame de l'Osier (1657). Successive constructions are created as worship develops on the spot. First a cross, then a small wooden chapel (1657), then a church (1659) and finally 1858 was built a large church, consecrated in 1873, which would be elevated to the rank of minor basilica in 1924: the basilica Notre-Dame de l'Osier.
In addition to this building is built in 1856 a church "Our Lady of Good Meeting" on the site of the Marian apparition. The sanctuary also includes a small oratory dedicated to "Our Lady of the Epinouse", also in connection with the Marian apparition of 1657. This sanctuary was quickly taken over by Augustine religious, replaced in 1834 by the Oblates of Mary Immaculate.
