château de Montguerlhe
The Château de Montguerlhe is a former castle, founded in the 11th century. It is located at the top of a plateau with the same name at 829 m above sea level, on the border of three communes: Sainte-Agathe, Escoutoux and Celles-sur-Durolle, near Thiers in the department of Puy-de-Dôme in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. Currently in a state of ruin, it is an important primitive military work of the Thierno region in the Middle Ages.
