musée archéologique de Narbonne
The Archaeological Museum of Narbonne is a museum located in the Palace of Archbishops of Narbonne. It presents a collection of archaeological pieces and furniture covering the local history of prehistory until the Middle Ages. It houses a large collection of Gallo-Roman frescoes discovered during the excavations of the Clos de la Lombarde site.
With the Narbonne Museum of Art and History, it is one of the two main museums in Narbonne. Its Roman collections joined Narbo Via, whose first stone was laid on November 10, 2015, and whose inauguration takes place in the spring of 2021.
