prison Montluc
The Montluc prison, located 4 rue Jeanne-Hachette in the 3rd arrondissement of Lyon, is a military prison built in 1921 on the ice of Fort Montluc. She is particularly famous for her role as a place of detention during the Second World War. More than 10,000 people including Jean Moulin and Marc Bloch transited through this place between February 17, 1943 and August 24, 1944. Montluc Prison has been listed as a historic monument since 25 June 2009.
