The African Museum of Lyon, officially the African Museum of Cultures of West Africa, has one of the largest collections dedicated to the arts and cultures of West Africa. Inaugurated in 1861, it is located at 150, Cours Gambetta in the 7th arrondissement of Lyon. It closed on 27 November 2017. The space left free was dedicated to the Carrefour des Cultures Africaines, which allows you to keep access to the library.
