Saint-Gervais-Saint-Protais de Rhuis Church is a parish Catholic church located in Rhuis, in the French department of Oise and the Hauts-de-France region. It is apparently the first church that the small village of Ruis owned, and it represents one of the oldest churches in the region. In Romanesque style, it was built in the middle of the 11th century, but the bell tower was only built at the end of the century, at the same time as the choir was extended by an apse in the Chamber.

The nave is of a basilical plane and extremely sober, without capitals, the large arcades falling back on impostes embellished with a simple geometric decor. The last spans of the lower side form chapels, of which the northern one is at the same time the base of the bell tower. It is vaulted with ridges, while its counterpart to the south was vaulted with warheads around 1125.

The nave is again covered with an apparent structure since the deep restoration of the 1964-1970s, and the bottoms are simply capped. The choir is better lit than the nave, but also devoid of ornamentation, and its arch in the ass of oven consists in fact of a wicker clay. Externally, we notice above all the...
