Saint-Barthélemy Church is a parish Catholic church located in Villeneuve-sur-Verberie, Oise, France. It is a building of the first Gothic period of the 1160s / 1180s, which still greatly feels the influence of Romanesque architecture, with the exception of the two remarkable portals and the belfry floor of the bell tower, which is of important dimensions. The portals are inspired by the collegiate Saint-Frambourg de Senlis, and the bell tower of Senlis Cathedral.
Since the addition of a chapel to the north of the first span of the choir in the 13th century and a low side to the north of the nave towards the end of the 15th century, the plan of the church has become dissymmetric. The interior of the nave changed profoundly with the arching of warheads at the same time. The choir, however, has changed little since its construction, and remains the most interesting part of the church.
