Saint-Martin Church is a parish Catholic church located in the hamlet of Noël-Saint-Martin, Villeneuve-sur-Verberie, Oise, France. It was part of the initial endowment of the priory Saint-Martin-des-Champs of Paris in 1096, and was then transferred to its subsidiary, the priory of Saint-Nicolas-d'Acy, ten years later. The church is, however, of much older foundation, because its nave is deatable from the second half of the eleventh century, and its bell tower from the last quarter of the same century.
The nave, which was initially devoid of downsides and was never vaulted, is the only one on the left bank of the Oise which has a small regular flint aircraft, as frequently in the Beauvais. The bell tower, whose upper floor collapsed around 1660/62, appears to be copied on its close neighbour to Rhuis. As a church in one of the smallest parishes in the former diocese of Soissons, which has been a hamlet since 1825, the building is very small in size.
With her late Romanesque choir of the years 1120/1135, however, she has a remarkable architectural piece, both for her two archaic warhead vaults, which are among the oldest in the department...
