musée du Luxembourg
The Museum of Luxembourg is an art exhibition in a wing built perpendicular to the orangery of the Palais du Luxembourg, rue de Vaugirard, in the 6th arrondissement of Paris. Since 2000, this cultural institution has been placed under the supervision of the French Senate, which sits in the rest of the palace (in some cases, this supervision consists in entrusting the management of exhibitions to a private company). Its present vocation is to periodically present thematic and original artistic exhibitions focusing on three areas of programming, linked to the history of the place: "the Renaissance in Europe", "Art and power" and "the Palais, the Garden and the Museum: Luxembourg in the heart of Paris, capital of the arts".
