Grotte du Lazaret

The Lazaret Cave is a prehistoric site of Middle Paleolithic located at the foot of Mount Boron, in the southeastern part of Nice, in the Alpes-Maritimes. It was classified under the Historic Monuments by order of 21 March 1963. Excavations of the cave were carried out by the Institute of Human Paleontology, Albert I Prince of Monaco Foundation.
