Castel of Nice Cathedral

Sainte-Marie Cathedral on the hill of Nice Castle was a pre-Roman-style cathedral. It is now in ruins. It was the seat of the diocese of Nice until the transfer of the bishopric to the Cathedral of Sainte-Reparate. The ancient diocese of Cimiez had another cathedral in ancient thermal baths on this hill.
