musée d'Art naïf et d'Arts singuliers
The Musée d'Art naïve et d'Arts singulares (MANAS) is a municipal museum of the City of Laval (Mayenne) located on the edge of the Old Castle. Created in 1967 at the initiative of artists Jules Lefranc and Andrée Bordeaux-Lepecq, he was the first and only French institution dedicated to naive art. Under the impetus of successive directors and curators, his collections have enriched themselves with hundreds of singular works, thus highlighting the deep links between the different forms of self-taught art.
