The church Notre-Dame-de-l'Assomption is a parish Catholic church located in the hamlet of La Villeneuve-Saint-Martin in the commune of Ableiges, in Val-d'Oise, France. It is a small building, which originally consisted of only one nave of two spans, a transept and a choir of one span, ending with a bedside with cut strips. It was built between 1210 and 1230 in the Gothic style, but the vaults of the nave were only added a generation later, and the bell tower belfry floor may never have been executed.
At an undetermined time, a low side was added to the nave on the north side. There is no longer any such thing as the southern crusillon of the transept, replaced by the sacristy, and the vaults of the nave and the north crusillon. Indeed, the suppression of the parish from the beginning of the nineteenth century and the attachment of the village of La Villeneuve to the commune of Ableiges in 1843 led to a lack of maintenance, to which the inscription in title of historical monuments by decree of 20 November 1931 did not remedy.
