About

Saint-Étienne Church is a Catholic church located in Bouconvillers, France. It is the only church of the French Vexin to possess a square Romanesque bell tower on the first floor and octagonal on the second floor, with a stone arrow. The north crusillon and archvolt of the gate are also novels, as well as the walls of the nave, which however lost all its authenticity with a restoration of 1877/1878.

It no longer has any original bays, and is now covered with neogothic warhead arches. The other parts of the church are in the same case, and of the two Gothic side chapels, all that remains of origin are three bays (two to the east and one to the south). The choir, the bell tower and the Romanesque portal are inscribed historical monument by decree of 18 March 1927.

It is affiliated with the parish of Saint-François-d'Assise du Vexin.
