Tram bridge
pont de l'Île-Verte
The Pont de l'Île-Verte refers to two successive bridges over the Isère, connecting the Ile-Verte district of Grenoble with the commune of La Tronche. The first bridge was built between 1897 and 1899 and replaced in 1989 by a new bridge. This bridge is also known as the Hospital Bridge because of its proximity to the civilian hospital of the Tronche and the university hospital Grenoble Alpes and because of the name of the tram station of the line B which it houses, itself called the Hospital Tronche.
