About

The Morinière Bridge is a bridge located on the Nantaise Sèvre between Nantes (neighborhood Nantes Sud) and Rezé, France. It connects the Levée de Sèvre to Nantes, Rue de la Paix, and Rezé. In the Middle Ages, there is already a work with a wooden apron there.

During the Revolution, he was endowed with a drawbridge by the Republicans to prevent an attack by the Vendéens. In 1883, as a result of poor maintenance, a new bridge with carved stone pillars on which three metal aprons were built. In 1970, a landslide distorted the deck and required the bridge to be closed for 17 months.

The current structure was built in 1980 with 28-metre beams.
