About

The Georges-Clemenceau Bridge in Nantes was built from 1962 to 1966. Forming part of the "second line of bridges", it crosses the "arm of Pirmil", the Loire arm located to the south of the island of Nantes, and connects the boulevard Général-De-Gaulle (formerly "Blvd de Beaulieu") in the district Nantes Sud, newly created at the time, to the boulevard Émile-Gabory, which is created later.
