Triumphal arch
arc antique d'Orange
The ancient arch of Orange or, commonly the triumphal arch of Orange is a Roman monumental arch of the beginning of the first century, which marks the northern entrance of Arausio (now Orange, in the French department of Vaucluse) on Via Agrippa (the national road 7 before its decommissioning). The Orange Arch has been included in the first list of historical monuments (1840) and has been on the European World Heritage List since 1981.
