The Church of Our Lady of the Assumption is a parish Catholic church located in Plessis-Gassot, Val-d'Oise, France. It replaces a first church that was not to be before the 13th century, and some of which may remain at the bottom of the southern wall. The present Renaissance building was built between the late 1560s and 1575 under Father Guillemites of Paris, known as the Blancs-Manteaux, lords of the Plessis-Gassot, as prime contractor; and the master-mason of Luzarch, Nicolas de Saint-Michel, as prime contractor.
The last two spans of the south side are posterior; They may date from 1682, the date of construction of the western facade. The major altarpiece and its woodwork are contemporaneous of this work, and are distinguished in the region by their painted decoration. As for the bell tower, it did not remain unfinished, but its two floors were demolished in 1899 to counter the risk of collapse.
