arènes d'Arles
Arles Arenas are a Roman amphitheatre built around 80-90 AD on the orders of Emperor Domitian, as part of the Flavian extensions of the city. The Amphitheatre of Arles is the most important monument of the ancient Roman colony that we can admire, some two millennia after its construction. Its architecture is entirely designed in connection with its vocation as a venue for great shows, welcoming a large audience.
