Saint-Denis Church is a parish Catholic church located in Crépy-en-Valois, Oise, in the Hauts-de-France region. It probably replaces the castral chapel of Gautier II de Vexin, which dates back to the early 11th century. The oldest part of the present church is the Romanesque nave, not vaulted, which can be dated from the second quarter of the twelfth century.
The transept, which reflects the transition to Gothic style, is barely younger, and has some capitals characteristic of the mid-12th century. Under the siege of Crepy in 1434, the church suffered damage. The coasts were rebuilt after the middle of the 15th century, and a dedication ceremony was celebrated in 1457.
Much later, between 1544 and 1573, the ancient choir was replaced by a vast set of flamboyant Gothic style, which consisted of three parallel ships vaulted at 13.50 m high, and a five-sided apse. The church becomes a building of considerable size, measuring 52 m long for 22,60 m wide, hors-œuvre.
