palais Rohan
The Rohan Palace is a Bordeaux palace built for Archbishop Ferdinand-Maximilien-Mériadec, prince of Rohan, between 1771 and 1784. Hotel of the Archbishopric until the Revolution, then seat of the revolutionary court in 1791, hotel of the prefecture in 1800, imperial palace of Napoleon I in 1808 and royal palace in 1815 under Louis XVIII, the Rohan Palace became city hall in 1835.
