église Saint-Martin de Frouville
The Saint Martin Church is a parish Catholic church located in Frouville, Val-d'Oise, France. It has a Romanesque bell tower of the first quarter of the 12th century, which remains of the previous church, and has unusual arrangements in the area, including decorative arches plated on the first floor. The other parts of the church are Gothic, and were built during three close campaigns between 1220 and about 1240.
It consists of a nave without vaulted sides, a choir of two spans, with a bedside with cut strips, and a chapel. The curved frame of the nave, with its carved sandstones, and the plan of the church, are remarkable: indeed, it has a second apse to the south of the choir, which is almost a copy of it, and which is not visible from the nave. Inadequate restoration of 1925 diminished his interest.
During the last quarter of the 13th century, even at the beginning of the 14th century, the church was enlarged by the addition of a large chapel north of the choir, of which it exceeds the dimensions. Here, we find the only two gothic reamped windows radiating from...
