Church building
église Saint-Martin d'Ognon
Saint Martin Church is a Catholic parish church located in Ognon, Oise department, France. It is a small building without character, consisting of a single vessel completed in 1639, and a 16th century side chapel. Only the western gate and the tombstones inside attract attention.
Otherwise, the number of seven warhead arches seems unusual compared to the modest length of the ship, as well as the flamboyant Gothic style of the vault, almost a century after the arrival of the Renaissance in the region. For its picturesque setting, the Church's square was inscribed as sites in 1944, as well as the church itself. The church is also listed as historical monuments by order of 20 February 1970.
It now depends on the parish of Saint-Rieul in Senlis, and early Sunday Masses are celebrated there on the Saturday preceding the fourth Sunday of the month, every three months approximately, at 6:30 p.m.
