église Saint-Sulpice de Montsoult
Saint Sulpice Church is a Catholic parish church located in Montsoult, France. It succeeds a church of the 12th or 13th century, which was almost entirely rebuilt during the first half of the 16th century in the flamboyant Gothic style. His dedication was celebrated in 1543.
It is a rather simple building, distinguished by its unusual double-nave plan, making it a church hall. The instability of the field has motivated several times in the work<<, and the outside is of no great character. The 18th century facade is influenced by the classical style, and should normally be coated.
The interior holds its character from the eight arches of warheads, some of which fall on pillars decorated with carved friezes. The church was listed as historical monuments by order of 16 June 1926. Structural disorders caused a long restoration campaign between 1967 and 1976.
Virtually all the old furniture was removed from the church, and it was later redecorated. The baptismal fonts, four statues and one painting are the only elements before the French Revolution kept in place. Today, the church...
