The Museum of Fine Arts of Tours is located in the former Episcopal Palace, near the cathedral in the Old Towers.

The museum is known for its varied collections from antiquity to contemporary art. It is also known for its French-style garden, to house Fritz, a stuffed Asian elephant, and its classified Lebanese cedar. The site has been classified as historical monuments since 1983.
