The Château Borély is a neo-classical castle-bastide of the eighteenth century, from the Bonneveine district, in the 8th arrondissement of Marseille, in the Bouches-du-Rhône in Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur. Associated with the Borély Park and the Marseille Borély Golf Racecourse, it has been listed as a historical monument since 1936, and has hosted the Musée des Arts Décoratifs, de la Faïence et de la Mode since Marseille-Provence 2013 with its rich original décor. The entire Borély estate, with the exception of the already classified castle, is registered by decree of 5 September 2024.

Borély family: Joseph Borély, comes from an important and rich family of maritime traders from Marseille. During the reign of King Louis XIV, he bought on 26 June 1684 at Alzéar d'Antoine, a farm-bastide-farmer and wine estate in the Bonneveine district, on the road of the seafront of Marseille (on the current park Borély and hippodrome-golf Marseille Borély, on the edge of the park Prado, with views of the Mediterranean Sea, islands of Frioul, and castle of If).
