Archaeological museum
Archéa, Archéologie en pays de France is a museum labeled Museum of France, dedicated to archaeology in the country of France, located in Louvres to the east of Val-d'Oise. Its purpose is to highlight the archaeological heritage of the country of France and especially of the eastern part of Val-d'Oise. A contemporary building housing all the museum's collections has been open since September 10, 2010.
It also aims to enhance the Orville archaeological site and the ceramic heritage of the Ysieux Valley. Formerly called the Intermunicipal Museum of History and Archaeology, it is a service of the Communauté d'agglomeration Roissy Pays de France.
