château d'Urtubie
The castle of Urtubia, located in the commune of Urrugne, 3 km from Saint-Jean-de-Luz, was rebuilt in 1505 on the ruins of an ancient feudal castle built in 1341 and razed and burned in 1497, of which only a few defensive walls and a dungeon remained. In 1745, the second castle was the object of major modifications and enlargements. It has been included in the inventory of historical monuments since 1974.
