Château de Châtillon-d'Azergues () is a 12th-century castle in the Rhône department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region of France. The Saint-Barthélémy chapel known as Notre-Dame-de-Bon-Secours was listed as a historic monument in 1862; The ruins of the castle, with the exception of the chapel already classified, are classified by order of 1 October 1937.
Location: Château de Châtillon-d'Azergues is located in the French department of the Rhône on the commune of Châtillon, formerly Châtillon-d'Azergues, at the highest of the village, near the church.
History: A family of Châtillon would be mentioned at the end of the 10th or 11th century, but the oldest known mention of the castle appears in the transaction of 1173, between the Count of Forez who gave it to the Archbishop of Lyon. An object of desire because of its strategic position, in the 13th century the family of Oingt has possession of it before it passes by marriage to that of Albon. In 1260 it is mentioned the dungeon in an act stating that "the inhabitants of Châtillon are obliged to work on the repairs of the castle, but nothing can be done to them...
