Fossilea (formerly Espace Pierres Folles) is a museum, botanical garden and geological path located in Saint-Jean-des-Vignes, in the Rhône department and the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. It offers a retrospective of the history of Beaujolais through the geology, fossils, soil and natural resources of the region. It is the association of Espace Pierres Folles (and not the museum) that still sells gold stone provided by the Lafarge cement factory that exploits the nearby quarry of Belmont.
