The Château de Fréteval is a former castle of the first half of the 11th century, whose remains stand on the French commune of Fréteval in the department of Loir-et-Cher, in the Centre-Val de Loire region. The dungeon is considered one of the oldest circular dungeons in France. The remains of the dungeon are listed as historical monuments.
