About

The Saint-André collegiate church, also known as the Saint-André church, is a former collegiate church located on Place Saint-André in Grenoble, opposite the former Palace of the Parliament of the Dauphiné. It is the former private chapel of dolphins founded in 1228 to house their grave. Its construction was assured by the income of the silver mines of Brandes-en-Oisans near the Alpe d'Huez. It is dedicated to Saint Andrew.
