téléphérique de Grenoble Bastille
The Grenoble Bastille cable car, also known as the Grenoble bubbles due to the shape of its spherical cabins, is a means of tourist transport that connects the city centre (the Jardin de ville sector) of Grenoble to the Bastille hill on a 266 metre elevation. Inaugurated on 29 September 1934, it was one of the first cable cars built in a large agglomeration.
