palais Lascaris
The Lascaris Palace is an old aristocratic residence in Nice built by the Lascaris family of Vintimille in the first half of the seventeenth century, and today a museum of ancient musical instruments. Located in the heart of the Old Nice, it houses a collection of about 500 instruments, making it, according to Nice City Hall, the second largest collection in France. In the absence of documentary sources, the architects of the palace are not known. Its architectural style is called genoese baroque.
