About

In the 19th century, Pont Neuf was a bridge crossing in Nice the coastal river Paillon, near its mouth on the Mediterranean. It was the second work of art built on the Paillon since the Middle Ages in Nice. Completed in 1824, it was destroyed in 1882 when the river was covered at the end of its route in the city.
